Essential Qualification-

ITI / DIPLOMA – (Mech / Elect)

Experience Required-

Diploma – 2 to 3 years

ITI – 5 to 6 years

Job Summary-

Installation & Commissioning, Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Diesel Generators, Automatic Transfer Switch, Manual Transfer Switch, Distribution Boards, Synchronizing panels, Transformers and other associated equipments like Load banks, fuel tanks

Technical skills required-

Hands on troubleshooting experience in Diesel Engines and alternator.

Manual and auto Synchronizing of Diesel generators.

Expertise in installation and commissioning, preventive and breakdown maintenance and repairs of Diesel engines, alternators, control & synchronizing panels.

Extensive knowledge on hand tools and special tools usage.

Assessment, examining, evaluating and reporting the performance of Diesel Generators.

Key Tasks –

Carry out fault diagnosis and ensure the equipment operational in minimum possible time.

Assist in preparing preventive maintenance schedules.

Ensure the preventive maintenance is carried out in time.

Carry out the off-hire inspection checks, pre-delivery inspection check, pre-commissioning checks as per standard set procedure.

Follow equipment repair priority list as advised by the Supervisor.

Train customers on the safe operation and maintenance of the equipments.

Maintain service vehicle in clean and good operational condition.

Maintain a clean, well organized work station, site locations, yard & equipments.

Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.

Prepare technical service reports.

Assist in proper documentation of reports and time sheets by submitting in time.

Assist in preparing the inventory of preventive and breakdown maintenance spares.

Carry out forward planning on all assigned work.

Ensure having adequate proper hand tools and special tools to carry out maintenance and repairs.

Maintain and enhance work relationship with customer and promote Company and its services.

Ensure all resources allocated are safely and securely stored while in possession and ensure that are returned with proper accountability.
